Rodney Ikeda is Counsel in the Real Estate/Leasing Group of Himelfarb Proszanski in Toronto, who brings particular expertise in condominium development, financing, real estate, and planning and development.

Throughout his career, Rodney has served on various association boards and committees, including serving on the Board of the Directors of the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) and on the Board of the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA). Rodney chaired the Condominium Forum of BILD in 2002, and lobbied on behalf of BILD, OHBA and Urban Development Institute for changes to the Condominium Act, 1998. Rodney has also served as a member of the Urban Development Round Table to Streamline Development Approvals in the City of Toronto, and is an Escrow Agent for the Tarion Warranty Corporation.

A prolific author and instructor, Rodney has led numerous continuing education seminars for legal practitioners as well as real estate professionals.

Rodney was inducted into the BILD Hall of Fame in January 2018.
